PHOENIX, AZ.-DECEMBER 10, 2007-- Suntron Corporation ("Suntron") (NASDAQ SCM: SUNN) a leading provider of integrated electronics manufacturing solutions, announced today that its 90% stockholder, SUNN Acquisition Corporation ("SUNN"), is nearing completion of the privatization of Suntron first announced and described in a press release dated October 3, 2007. In connection with going private, Suntron intends to delist its common stock, par value $0.01 per share, from listing on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market.

As previously disclosed by Suntron and as described in the amended Schedule 13E-3 Transaction Statement filed by SUNN, the filing persons have decided to take Suntron private through the short-form merger of SUNN with and into Suntron pursuant to Section 253 of the Delaware General Corporation Law. As a result of the merger, Suntron's common stock will be withdrawn from listing on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market. Suntron has not arranged for listing its common stock on another national securities exchange or for quotation of its common stock in a quotation medium.
